GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate would ideally have Accounting and Tax experience acquired in an international audit firm or international energy business. The position will support with the accounting and tax reporting of OW’s entities in Spain (HoldCo and FinCo). The role may also involve some level of support on accounting and tax matters in other geographies.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Accounting: Spain (OW HoldCo and FinCo)

• o Management of suppliers / clients master data in SAP
• o Contact with suppliers for payment follow-up and linked documentation
• o Invoice registration and Accounts Payable / Receivable tracking
• o Corporate credit card reconciliation with bank information and tracking of the expenses to be justified

· Tax: Spain (OW HoldCo and FinCo)

• o Assist in the tax compliance (CIT, personal income tax, VAT, etc.), including calculation, preparation and submission
• o Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting (internal or external)
• o Follow-up of electronic notifications received in the AEAT mailbox
• o SII follow-up and reconciliation with accounting records

· Other activities

• o Ensure that Accounting and Tax processes comply with OW’s Internal Control system (SCIRF) and that controls (eg: reconciliations) are performed and evidenced
• o Support on the corporate timesheet tool
• o Provide information for internal and external audits
• o Regular contact with the Procurement and Finance department
• o Support on accounting and tax compliance processes in other geographies

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

• Degree in Business Administration or Accounting

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• 1 or 2 years of experience in a similar position

LANGUAGES

• Good level of Spanish & English

KNOWLEDGE

• · Experience in ERPs required (eg: SAP FI/CO; Navision; …)
• · Advance knowledge in Excel

• · Team player, with good communication skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment in a growing business
• · Strong analytical skills
• · Well organized and with attention to detail

MOBILITY

• · Job location will be in Madrid. Flexibility to travel may be required
